F-1 Cap Gap Extension

F-1 students who have OPT and have an H-1B cap case filed for them received a 6 month extension of “cap-gap” work authorization to the following April 1st.   This rule provides additional employment authorization to help qualifying students avoid lapses in status and work authorization while awaiting a change to H-1B status.
